NRECA’s annual meeting to feature Next Generation Leaders Program
NRECA’s annual meeting, which is Feb. 14-17 in New Orleans, is the best opportunity for co-op leaders to come together to tackle the environmental, political and economic challenges that our industry is facing. This year, NRECA will launch the Next Generation Leaders Program as part of the annual meeting, which is a great way to introduce other co-op employees to the next level of leadership.
The annual meeting will feature some new enhancements, including shorter general sessions that will allow time for more educational forums on diverse topics, as well as more time for networking. And entertainment night will feature Grammy Award-winning singer LeAnn Rimes and country supergroup Lonestar.
The Next Generation Leaders Program is open to all co-ops, who can register one person from their co-op — perhaps someone who has never been to the annual meeting and would benefit from the experience. Participants will have access to networking events, forum sessions focused on leadership development and more. The registration fee is the same for regular attendees, but registrants have the opportunity to apply for a scholarship to offset that cost.
